In order to create such violence which is free from any violence and provide protection to women against exploitation, discrimination and violence, The PWDVA 2005, constitutional and legal provisions have been made. A number of legal Acts have been enacted to provide justice to the victims of violence and also to prevent the crimes and violence against women. There has been a long history of judicial response, legal control towards the protection of women’s rights prevention of violence and rehabilitation of victims.
